
What you will need
- 4 bell peppers
- ½ c wild rice (or any rice)
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ c mozzarella cheese
- ¼ c cheddar cheese
- ½ an onion
- 2 tbsp sour cream (optional)
- seasons of your preference
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Place ½ c of wild rice in a pot with 2 cups of water, and boil for 40 to 45 minutes
- Start boiling water for the bell peppers
- Cut a hole out of the top of the bell peppers and remove seeds
- Place bell peppers in boiling water, and cook for about 20 minutes
- Start browning the ground turkey. Season to preference
- Chop onion
- Once turkey and rice are done, mix together and add diced onion
- Add sour cream and ¼ c of mozzarella cheese to turkey mixture
- Remove bell peppers from water and add a pinch of cheddar cheese in the bottom of bell pepper
- Place turkey mixture into bell peppers then top with the rest of the cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes
